Philosophy and Values of the Qaori Cooperative

The Qaori Cooperative is a social enterprise that follows the principles of the Sufficient Economy of King Rama IX and the Social Enterprise Promotion Act 2019. We are committed to creating a more just and equitable society through sustainable economic development and social impact.

The Sufficient Economy

The Sufficient Economy is a philosophy of economic development that emphasizes moderation, sustainability, and self-reliance. It is based on the principles of:

• • Moderation: Living a simple life and avoiding excessive consumption.

• • Sustainability: Using resources wisely and protecting the environment.

• • Self-reliance: Building strong communities and reducing reliance on external assistance.

Social Enterprise Promotion Act 2019

The Social Enterprise Promotion Act 2019 is a law that promotes the development of social enterprises in Thailand. Social enterprises are businesses that are primarily focused on social impact rather than profit maximization.

Social Partner Networks

 Our first partner network is the Prosumer Economy Network 

The prosumer economy is a macroscale circular economy with positive ecological and social impact. It is an ecosystem of producers and prosumers, who have synergistic and circular relationships with deepened circular supply chains/networks, where leakage of wealth out of the system is minimized. For more information see the White Paper.
